ECWCS

ECWCS, or Extended Cold Weather Clothing System, was originally developed in the 1980s by the U.S. Army. The system consists of a parka and trousers, as well as many optional handwear, headwear, and other items to suit the requirements of the soldier. ECWCS is designed to protect from the environment in temperatures ranging from +40°F to -60°F. ECWCS Parkas feature a cobra hood design to fit over ballistic helmets.
